I need to replace a Philips IC in a record player 22GF603. I have lots of IC and wonder if anyone know a cross referense or a substitute?

Hi Johan, very rare and hard to find IC.
These guys do have some in stock but for a "killerprice"

Hi,
This question is unsolved read p.e.
There is no direct equivalent in modern ic's but do you know secure the IC is defective ?? and not the surrounding capacitors or output transistor pair.
The solution of implant a newer output-set good be easyer
Lookalike output stages at: 22GF614, Aristona SG2603

Many thanks for all peplies! The IC is missing! The owner before tried to repair it and never replaced it and left the board empty!

If you are skilled in electronics, you could try to use a normal operational amplifier.
The output of the opamp is connected to both bases of the output transistors.
A better performance can be obtained by adding a resitor of 150 ohms between the two bases and the emitters of the output transistors. Small loudspeaker currents flow through the resistor, preventing cross-over distortion.
The feedback circuit has to be connected to the negative input, the audio input of the amp with the positive input. Some redesign has to be carried out, but is not impossible.
The new (dual) ic should be mounted on a piece of experimenters board, which of the connection wires could be connected to the corresponding holes of the old ic.
