Thanks Rolf for your information. I've to admit I'd never heard of the brand Linnet&Laursen. But their design is very nicely, a really beautiful Danish design. As seen from the inside it's a look-a-like Philips, with so many components from Philips. So I can imagine that at a first glance you're making a mistake. Or did Philips Denmark Copy the cabinet and put the inner of an old portable radio in it?? We'll probably never know.
Again, thanks for given the extra information about the BDK436T!

Greetings,

Paul

(tried to send a message on oudio.nl,but it doesn't seem to work with my new PC)
I must say I was intrigued by the Philips BDK436T.At first look it looks loke a Linnet&Laursen to me,but there are many details inside that points towards Philips-the trimmers,Philips loudspeaker,5-p IEC socket, the special Philips power supply, even the large head screws are Philips. On the other hand the knobs are the same as on the Ortofon KS601!
Found this:

Een tijdje geleden was er de discussie waar de SA7243T vandaan kwam. Belgie, Duitsland of Denemarken.
Op de site van oudio.nl staat een bijzonder broertje van deze transistorradio, de BDK436T, zie http://www.oudio.nl/radios/bdk436t.htm
Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid dus toch echt een Deens produkt.
