PL059 means the transformer is made in Leuven, Belgium, 1969 week 05 so your record player is somewhat newer then you thought.
On the label should be another number as well, probably starting with 3122 or 3104. This is the part number.
In the service manual is probably another part number starting with 4822. Either part number will fit but you will need some luck finding one.
By the way, what is the full model number? ??GF446/?? probably. This could help in obtaining the right service manual.
P.S. If there's a thermal fuse in the primary, the transformer itself might still be okay. Just replace the fuse and see if there's a cause for the fuse blowing (not always the case).

Maarten ,Thanks for getting back to me. The model nr is GF446 and the other nr on the transformeris 311232830211. There is note stapled on the bottom case witch read replace thermal fuse with part nr.A3 425 53. I cannot find this fuse . Also this unit has no voltage changer,i bought it brand new in 1969 here in Canada, only wired for 110 volt. Thanks Steve.

I cannot find this fuse
This fuse is stuck into the coil of the transformer.
You can find it bij looking closely at the terminals.
Coils are copper, the fuse is blank wired.
Then measuring those 2 points of that fuse,if broken attemt first with an outside fuse the transformer.
Maybe the fuse is just blown deu to the very empty capacitor, that after a long time without a voltage should be reformed first.
Fuse can be taken out sometimes.
If it is a solder one, don't put new solder on it but with a clean tip of your iron just resolder with the tin on the fuse.
The tin used with this kind of thermo-fuses is of special aloy.
Otherwise just put a new glass fuse outsite with the mains for safety reasons.
And repoint or short the old fuse.

Picturs of the transformer- somewhere on the net found
transformer is 311232830211

Fuse should be between terminal N and 1.
That is middle 2 terminals at side Primair.
The gab in the top pertinax terminal plate left and right from it.
Manual VL402 - Partnr: 4822 252 20001
Indead a therminal fuse at 138C and Max I = 2,0A at 115C
