Een Philips 953 stereo combinatie ontvangen per post. (Toestel of techniek)

Have no clue what that should supposed to do.

That 1k is grounded when unit is OFF.
So becomes useless when in OFF state (For moment I though its for the on/off "Plop"reduce)

Wire after 1k (27V, Cass Pin 3 and E60 in that way you short out that 27E resistor at any time.

Then this way, you put an extra half way rectifier across the bridge rectifier.
I don't get it.

Looking at my 22RH953 there is nothing to be found about that extra PCB.

At moment I can't find a Service-anouncement about this.
As many after market or during production a lot of remarks or changes made
are been sent out to dealers/Service shops.

E5/E6 is the switch to get power to the Tuner.
Its the Tuner On/Off switch.

So have no clue why this PCB is in it.
If you keep having trouble with it, just take it out.
