Take PCB out,

Connect all according to schematics.

PCB has no use at my opinion.
and even now seems to be giving problems also.

Take it out, connect and see how your 953 will behave.

Could be that your system is been used for a specific function other
then normal.
Who knows.

I bet , without that PCB your 953 will work as it should.

TIP:
Leave that pcb in a plastic bag IN the unit it self
May be in future we figure it out.
